Sanskriti or Culture is derived from the word “Sanskar” which means “Values”. It describes the behaviour and value system of inhabitants of a human society. Culture plays a major role in connecting people and transforming human lives.India has a rich culture which is an amalgamation of several cultures. It is very important to find a slot to devour and understand our cultural roots in a better manner by experiencing our various art, tradition and values and to preserve them for coming generations. Sanskrithi’ is an attempt to make us all experience our colorful culture and strong values.
THE MISSION
The mission of Sanskrithi Foundation is to promote Indian art, culture, tradition and values by conducting trainings, workshops. Creating opportunities for artists, musicians of various fields to network and gain exposure by organizing performances.
THE VISION
Our vision is to bring together a global 'Sanskrithi' family ,which is culturally vibrant, self reliant with green practices , which can strengthen the Body , Mind and Soul of Humanity.
Who We Are
We are a not-for-profit, non-governmental, educational and research organization founded in 2005, registered in 2008. We work towards improving the quality of life by promoting Indian Arts, Music, Aesthetics and Culture. We are an embodiment of like- minded volunteers and cultural aspirants. Our ultimate goal is to balance the body, mind and soul by using the traditional Indian methodologies of Arts, Yoga and Swadesi.
We have identified five prec ious jewels viz., ‘Gurukulam’,’Sabarmathi Sangeeth’,’Swadesi’,’Evening Raga’ and ‘Nirvana’ to achieve our goal. Along with our major initiatives, we also organize: Cultural Festivals, Promote Organic Farming, Working on Vedic Literature, Shaping Cultural villages, Assisting and Motivating Artists, Conducting Seminars and Conferences, etc..
